DELIVERIES

We make every effort to deliver your order as quickly as possible. We aim to delivery within 21 days from receipt of order. However if you have an urgent request for a special occasion - we will do our utmost not to disappoint.

All parcels are requested to be signed for on delivery, if a signature is not possible, the courier will leave a card for you to contact the courier to re-arrange a delivery, if you are not able to sign for the parcel again on the second delivery, the goods will be delivered back to ourselves and there will be a re-delivery charge applicable.

However if you are able to give permission for a place where the parcel can be left at the address, the courier will be able to leave the parcel for you. We will email you on the day of despatch from our email address (sales@durhamboards.co.uk - please ensure this mail does not go directly into your junk folder) to inform you that the delivery will be the following day. We will also request that the board is checked inside the parcel for any damages, even if the outside packaging is undamaged, all damages must be reported to us by 1pm the day following delivery. If damages are not reported to us by 1pm the day following delivery we will be unable to claim compensation from our couriers for the damage and therefore unable to offer you a free of charge replacement. We will however, aim to resolve such an unusual situation as best we can for you.

RETURNS

If you wish to make a return, we must be contacted immediately on your receipt of order. If you wish to return a non-engraved kitchen board for any reason, we will happily refund the board value. For engraved board returns, we will happily refund the final board value after the engraving has been removed. All goods must be returned to us without damage. Please remember to include your name and address and you may wish to register the return postage as we cannot be responsible for any item that fails to reach us.

DAMAGES & ERRORS

We aim never to encounter the above, however if we do, please make contact immediately upon receipt of order, for damages by 1pm the day following the delivery and we will endeavour to resolve the situation to our best ability.

DESCRIPTIONS

Please be aware wood is a natural product and each board/piece has its own unique character and may not always have a uniform colour. All sizes are approximate, we endeavour to work as closely as possible to the sizes given.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

This website and our Terms and Conditions have been designed for use within the United Kingdom and under UK law. Whilst we are happy to consider requests for products and enquiries from outside the United Kingdom, we give no warranty, express or implied, that the use of this website or the placing of any order through this website from outside the UK complies with any applicable non-UK laws or regulations. Accordingly, any products or promotions not permitted under your local law are not offered to you.

A contract between the customer and Durham Boards for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed (at this point for engraved kitchen boards the buyer's credit/debit card will be charged for the value of the goods to be despatched) and despatched (at this point for all non-engraved goods the buyer's credit/debit card will be charged for the value of the goods despatched). This does not affect the customer's statutory rights.

Price and availability of goods is subject to change without notice. This means that the price confirmed after placing the order may be different to that charged at delivery. Every effort is made to ensure that this will not happen - please refer to our returns policy below. A delivery charge will be added to your order where appropriate, please see delivery times and charges.

Your Right to Cancel

You may normally cancel your order (once accepted by us) for any reason up to the point of despatch for non-engraved items and up to the point of processing for engraved items, once an engraved item has been processed there will be charges if the order is cancelled.

Returns Policy

If you are not entirely delighted with our products you have chosen, you may return them to us at any time. We will be able to offer you an exchange or refund. Refunds and exchanges for non-engraved items are for the item value and must be received undamaged. Refunds and exchanges for engraved items are for the final value of the item once the engraving has been removed. Please return the item within 2 weeks of receipt undamaged.

Making returns

For all returns, except where the item is faulty, you will be required to arrange and to pay for the return of the products to us. If you prefer we will arrange to collect the products from you, but the cost of this will be charged to you and may be deducted from any refund to you, except where the item is faulty. To return any products to us, please:

Inform us that you wish to have the item collected , the reason and whether you wish to have a refund or exchange. Pack the item in the parcel. Await designated collection date.

When returning items you are strongly recommended proof of posting. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. We will only refund or provide an exchange for the costs of postage where the item returned if faulty.

Payments

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Delta and (Maestro) Switch. All transactions are shown in £ sterling. We also accept cheque made payable to GH Farms Ltd, please write you cheque guarantee card number, guaranteed amount and expiry date on the reverse of the cheque.

All prices quoted on the website are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in pounds sterling (£).

Delivery is to UK addresses only, including Highlands and islands.

Conformity of Goods

We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct at the time of going to press. However, while the colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you.
